Trading Card Games: It's time to d-d-d-d-duel!

 I had to use the yu-gi-oh thing.. seriously. It called to me when typing the title, and even though it wasn't my first TCG, I just felt it made the topic title look more appealing... or maybe that's just me.

Anyway, if you couldn't tell already, this is a blog post about trading card games. Mostly just about the ones I got into, how much (roughly) I collected of each and well other games I'd like to get into eventually.

Pokemon

My first ever TCG was this. I really only got into it because you know, it was popular in schools back then (as were the games and the anime to an extent)

What Decks did I own:

Lockdown
BodyGuard
Team Rocket Devastation *pretty sure it's this and NOT trouble but I've not been able to find my binder in years*
Gym Heroes Misty

What else did I buy:

Other than card pockets and a special folder for all my originals, I bought several booster packs from Base, Jungle. Fossil, Base Set two and individual Neo Genesis (Japanese only), Neo Discovery (Japanese only), movie promos (english and japanese), ancient mew (3, have 2 cause I traded one) and Southern Island cards. I also got a card when I went to the pokemon event a while back too.

Sadly, since I've not found my binder (and can only find some of my japanese cards along with doubles), I'll never fully know how many I bought... but it was a LOT.

Digimon

I only really bought a booster pack of this, to see what it was like. That was it... nothing big here

Sailor Moon

For this, I bought a whole booster box (they were going for cheap), and put them all into polypockets apart from the doubles. Sadly, I can only find some of the polypockets, but I had ALMOST a full set from that one booster box alone.

Cardcaptors

I bought the deck the same time as I bought the sailor moon booster box. Not seen the deck since actually.

Harry Potter

I bought the deck once and got it for christmas again a few years ago, but never played with it..

Yu-gi-oh

My next big purchase was this game. I really went all out on getting the best deck, to the point that a friend gave me all his doubles for my deck, and I bought boosters with my lunch money. Sadly, I know my whole collection is around the house somewhere, but I've not seen it since... end of high school/start of college? I honestly don't know what's happened to it. Same with the cheap rip-off yu-gi-oh cards I bought.
